Black Bottle, 10-Year-Old Blended Scotch (Scotland) This aged expression of the Black Bottle blend contains malt from seven Islay distilleries, and offers the ultimate blended whisky experience for ‘peat heads.’
More profound peat notes than in the ‘standard’ Black Bottle, with fewer suggestions of grain. More heather on the palate, bigger, rounder, with greater traditional Islay character. Peaty and phenolic. The finish is lengthy and warming, with peat persisting to the very end.
40.0% ABV, 70cl, £19.95, widely available. | |
