Cutty Sark Cocktails
by Gavin D Smith, 04/12
Cutty Sark blended Scotch is celebrating the re-opening of its namesake, the world's last surviving tea clipper, on the 26th of this month. The legendary tea clipper, moored in Greenwich, south-east London,
has been undergoing renovations for the past five years, and to toast its re-opening to the public, Cutty Sark whisky has created a pair of new cocktails.
Leading 'mixologist' Andy Gemmell says that "Cutty Sark is a light and versatile whisky, making it an ideal base for long mixed drinks. These two new creations are an apt tribute to the revival of the world's
last tea-clipper."
