Tom Cannavan is publisher of wine-pages.com, one of the world's most popular wine sites, established in 1995. Tom has written about wine and food in print for many years too. He is Editor of Fine Expressions drinks magazine, and a member of the Circle of Wine Writers. He writes regularly for Off Licence News, Decanter and other magazines. His work has also appeared in the Sunday Times, The Independent on Sunday and he occasionally appears on BBC radio and television. In 2004 Tom launched beer-pages.com, an online magazine dedicated to speciality beers, running the site in conjunction with Roger Protz, one of the world's great beer authorities. Tom met up with Gavin D Smith in 2005, and now, whisky-pages.com joins this small stable of high quality drinks web sites, that are completely independent and feature a mix of reviews, news and information.

In 2000 Tom's book, The Good Web Guide to Wine was published, and he also contribute to two annual wine guides: Which? Wine Guide and The Wine Report. In 2003 Tom was shortlisted for the Prix du Lanson, the world's most prestigious wine writing award.

Tom is also moderator of the UK Whisky Forum.
